For the market launch of the new BMW X5, an international campaign was to be developed to create a sensation in television and print media and to serve as an umbrella idea for further activities (events, direct marketing, outdoor advertising, etc.).

Strategy.

We present the BMW X5 as the ultimate SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) and characterise it consequently as an icon and pioneer of its class.

Realisation.

With "Every moment has its icon" as the motto, we place the new BMW X5 on the same level as key figures in history who became icons in their respective fields - such as Shakespeare, da Vinci or Newton. Because driving the new BMW X5 is as thrilling as reading a previously undiscovered book by Hemingway. This feeling is conveyed impressively in eye-catching adverts and an emotional TV spot.
